About Us

 

W. Clay Lee established the family business in 1985.  He and his high school sweetheart wife Becky ran the company with Clay out in the field and Becky answering phone calls.  As the demand increased Clay added another generation of manpower to handle the growing customer base and provide the utmost in customer satisfaction.  To keep his company rooted in family values he added his daughter Jami as the Chief Financial Officer and son-in-law, David as Vice President.   Read on to learn more about our team...

 

    Clay Lee

The President and founder of the company, Clay Lee, is a life-long resident of North Augusta and is a licensed Residential/Commercial contractor.  Clay is a member to the Chamber of Commerce, the Roofing and Sheet Metal Association of Augusta, and the North Augusta Sertoma Club.  He is on the advisory board of the CSRA Better Business Bureau and is a Mason at the Acacia Lodge #315 in North Augusta.  He won the "North Augusta Small Business Person of the Year" award in 2008 and his companies have been voted "Best of the Best" by "The Star" readers for the past seven years.  Clay is not only a small business owner but a musician and friend to animals.  His group, SaintClay, recently released their CD, "Resolved" and its profits went solely to benefit the RASA, an animal rights group.

Our companies strive to be involved within our community.  Each season, we sponsor children's athletic teams through the North Augusta Parks & Recreation Department.  We also support the local and national Humane Societies as well as local animal shelters.  We are proud to participate in local fund raisers and charitable organizations such as the North Augusta Sertoma Club and the Arts & Heritage Center of North Augusta. 

KROC Center

 

Lee Remodeling was selected for the remodeling and renovation of several historical houses located on Eve Street in Augusta.  The dilapidated houses have been relocated from Broad Street to Eve Street to serve as office buildings for the new KROC Center.  They are now functional office buildings.

David is the Vice President of the company and oversees all facets of the business.  He holds a Residential/Light Commercial Contractor's License, and is currently pursuing his Green Builder's Credentials.  He is a member of the North Augusta Sertoma Club and Leadership North Augusta and is a volunteer coach for the North Augusta Parks & Recreation.  David attended Furman University where he met his wife Jami.  After being drafted by the Florida Marlins baseball club David pursued a career as a professional baseball player.  A left handed pitcher, David played in the minor league system for six years playing for the Marlins, the Cubs, and the Diamondbacks before he suffered a career-ending injury.  After his baseball career came to a close he and Jami settled in North Augusta and David completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management.   

 

      Dustin Tyra

Our newest member of the team, Dustin Tyra, is a graduate of the University of South Carolina Aiken where he received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Marketing.  He is certified in Hydro Stop Waterproofing for both flat and metal roofs.  Dustin is a native of Augusta where he currently resides.  He was nominated as part of USC Aiken's "Who's Who" among students.  Dustin also received a scholarship from the Home Builders Association of Aiken (HBA).  He is a valued addition, excelling in customer service and production management.
